EP's Chambray Western shirt - coming soon!

We got seriously excited when this sample arrived. For the past few months, we’ve been working on a snap front western-style variant of our EP’s Utility shirt. We’ll do this in the same natural-dyed Japanese chambray, and it has the exact same clean, slim fit as the Utility model.

The drop date will be in about 6-8 weeks. More info to come!

New Walt trousers in lightweight Italian corduroy

We saw this fabric in our trouser factory storeroom and started bouncing off the wall. Imagine some of the softest lightweight corduroy that you’ve ever felt. The kind of stuff that you’d want to live in. And then picture it bold deep Royal Blue and Kelly Green. I think that you can see why we were freaking out.

Here they are. The Walt trouser in Italian 100% lightweight corduroy. Just look at those colors.

Walt Lightweight Italian Corduroy Kelly Green: $165

Walt Lightweight Italian Corduroy Royal Blue: $165

Today's amazing Spam e-mail

Okay, we all get ridiculous spam from time to time. But one came this morning that was especially hilarious. I usually try to keep the blog focused on business, but this was too good not to share. Plus it’s been psychotically hot all week and my brain is pretty much fried. Anyway…

SUBJECT:There is a horrible story kbout a man who had no sex at all …

From: Exter Carter

To: lilbizkit12@yahoo.com; lilfartiepanties@yahoo.com; naomi_lei_tayao@yahoo.com; bigcballinin03@yahoo.com

Prepare yourself and yopr penqs for a night of ultimata pleasure!

So, the subject of a “horrible story” is already pretty funny. But I’ll point your attention to the e-mail addresses it was sent to. I’m not sure if there’s a real person behind such jems as “lil fartie panties” and “big c ballin in 03,” but they’re ridiculous. The fact that Big C was ballin in ‘03 exactly has been making me laugh for about 15 minutes. The ballin possibly continued past that year, but how could we ever know?

Garbstore x Lewis Leathers "Flying Dominator" Preview

Epaulet co-founder Michael Kuhle has been talking endlessly about this jacket. A collaboration between Garbstore & Lewis Leathers, it’s been literally haunting his dreams for months. This past week, he visited the Garbstore showroom in LA and came back with some images:

We’ll get 8 units in early September, and the price will be around $850. We’ve always loved Lewis jackets, but the fit on them is really cropped and old-school. We’re really excited about this because of the longer body and ribbed bottom. It’s extremely wearable, and a unique opportunity to get Lewis’ phenomenal quality in a special shape.
